1、score意为二十，它与dozen, hundred, thousand, million等词一样，前面有确定数字时，不加s，但可以与介词of连用，但hundred, thousand和million前面有确定数词时，不能跟of短语。
2、没有确定数词时加s及of表示许许多多。
3、如:a dozen pencils two score years a score of eggs一打铅笔 四十年 二十个鸡蛋three hundred students hundreds of students三百名学生 数百名学生The bus can hold two score and ten people. 这辆汽车可以容纲50人。
4、Scores of people took part in the game. 许多人参加了这次比赛。
